How to measure gutters for a materials-only drop
You do not need contractor language to start a gutter order. You need the length of each run, the downspouts, the corners, and a few photos that show what is really on the house.
Measure each run on its own
Walk the house and split the project into straight sections. A front run, garage run, porch run, and side return should each be entered separately. Measure the horizontal gutter line, not the roof slope.

If a run is 24 feet 8 inches, enter 25 feet. - Name each run.
Use labels like front, rear, garage, porch, left side, or right side. - Add photos.
A photo of each side helps us catch corners, returns, and tricky access.
Count downspouts and corners
Downspouts are ordered in 10 foot lengths, so an 11 foot downspout usually needs 20 feet of material. Count inside corners, outside corners, end caps, outlets, elbows, straps, and any gutter guards you want included.
